you need. Using your Check Card is like writing a check – only
better. That’s because it allows you to withdraw
funds from your checking account without ever having
to write a check. You can purchase groceries, gas, or
anything else wherever VISA® is accepted. Plus,
the Check Card performs all the functions of an ATM
card. It’s your checking, withdrawing, depositing
and transferring funds card – and it fits in your
pocket.
Forget having to round up your checkbook, a pen or identification.
With your First State Bank Check Card, every purchase
is simple. To make a purchase with your Check Card,
select credit on the terminal and swipe your card. The
funds for the purchase are automatically debited from
your First State Bank checking account.
There is no need to worry when you’re out of town
because your local checks may not be welcomed. Avoid
the hassle of checks and use your First State Bank Check
Card. Unlike paper checks, your Check Card is accepted
wherever you see the VISA® logo. With your First
State Bank Check Card, you will feel like a local anywhere
you travel.
Need to withdraw or transfer funds? No problem. First
State Bank’s Check Card gives you access to all
these services. You can use your Check Card at any ATM.
Eliminate the need to purchase paper checks by using the
First State Bank Check Card. With a Check Card you do
not have to worry about running out of checks when you’re
at the checkout. The First State Bank Check Card saves
you money in check printing fees while it saves our
valuable natural resources.
When you receive your Check Card, you’ll also receive
your assigned personal identification number (PIN).
You can change your assigned PIN to a new, easy-to-recall
four digit number by bringing it by one of our convenient
locations. Your PIN will keep you secure against unauthorized
transactions on your account. As an added safeguard,
we provide a cap on your liability if your card is lost

statement that includes the date, location and amount
of every transaction you’ve made with your Check
Card.
